ebola in nebraska is getting better every day
The Ebola outbreak in West Africa is getting worse, the World Health Organization warns, and U.S.
lawmakers are taking a hard look Thursday at whether their country has
the right measures in place as the CDC concedes a Texas nurse should not have been allowed to fly shortly before she was diagnosed with the virus.
A U.S. House panel is expected to ask tough questions of the CDC's director and other officials in a hearing Thursday afternoon about the agency's plans to track those exposed with the virus. This comes as international health officials scramble to stanch the disease in West Africa, which the WHO warns could see 5,000 to 10,000 new cases weekly by December.
