sanusi lamido-Emir Of Kano Tells Nigerians To Defend Themselves.

 
Following the widely criticised activities of members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has advised Nigerians to defend themselves against the sect’s onslaught.
The Emir gave the advice on Saturday during a closing remark at the weekly recitation of the Holy Quran as part of prayers for peace in the country.
He urged religious and community leaders to undertake the immediate task of reinventing courage in their people, particularly the youth, in preparation for self defence against the sect which has mounted a bloody campaign against Nigerians; killing, maiming and overrunning territories.
The Emir stated that Nigerians should stand firm in the face of attack rather than abandon their homes and towns, including women and children. He said people must stand resolute against the Boko Haram which kill boys and enslave girls when they attack towns.
