This comes in the course of the party’s campaign across the
country ahead of the highly-expected presidential election, which is to
be held on March 28.
Rotimi Amaechi, Rivers state governor, was among those who headed to Imo capital for the South East zonal rally.
The recent post of Buhari’s official Facebook page reads:
“Muhammadu Buhari received so much love in Owerri this morning. They know!”
Apparently, “they know” implies the outcome of the polls, which the APC expects to win.

As for the recent updates on the forthcoming elections, it was reported earlier today that Lagos High Court had banned the Nigerian government from disposing soldiers to voting stations during the coming elections.
This comes amid fears that the polls might be accompanied by the acts of violence.
Many national and world leaders have tasked politicians and voters to maintain the peaceful character of the process. The US President Barack Obama on March 23, today, in his message to Nigerians insisted that this week’s elections should be free, fair, credible and violence free.
