see the Main Reason Peter Obi Left APGA For PDP.

former governor of anambra state explain the reason he left APGA For PDP.
Obi who spoke to newsmen during an interactive session with Igbo group in Lagos State said his main reason for joining the PDP was because of his resolve to be strongly involved in President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 re-election bid, Daily Sun reports. He said: “Mr. President is doing very well. He has a lot of policies in place that will transform the country if re-elected. We shall support him fully for the benefit of the country.

”He stated that his defection had nothing to do with APGA as he still enjoys a cordial relationship with the governor of the state, Chief Willie Obiano, adding that he had no grievance against his former party.According to the former governor, the government is doing well and he will continue to support Gov. Obiano in building a better Anambra State for the good of the children of the state.Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State recently joined the PDP, saying it was not because of Ondo State or the Labour Party, but that it would offer him the opportunity to support the president more. Obi, who also cited the same reason, said he had discussed the matter with Mimiko on several occasions.Obi had announced his defection on Tuesday, October 7, following the motion by PDP caucus leaders from the South East zone who visited him the day before to lure him into the PDP.
Other political bigwigs have defected from their party to the PDP in the last one week. Just yesterday, former Governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel was in Aso rock to formally announce his defection from Labour party to the PDP.About a week ago Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State dumped the Labour Party, LP, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, carrying along all members of the state House of Assembly.
